Job Overview

Deloitte is looking for a Service Associate to support its Global Data Management team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on data validation, data quality, data cleansing, and identifying issues in enterprise data platforms. The candidate will work with business, technology, project, and ETL teams to validate data, investigate defects, perform basic root cause analysis, and support data quality improvements. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 0–1 years of experience and basic knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, Excel, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps.
  2. Support data cleansing and data enrichment activities.
  3. Validate source data against business requirements and defined data rules.
  4. Perform basic post-load validation.
  5. Check data accuracy and completeness.
  6. Document data quality issues and validation results.
  7. Track the resolution status of identified data issues.
  8. Work with ETL developers to implement data quality checks.
  9. Support investigation of data defects and validation failures.
  10. Perform basic root cause analysis of data-related issues.
  11. Collaborate with business, IT, and project teams to resolve data problems.
  12. Follow established data quality standards.
  13. Support data onboarding activities across enterprise platforms.
  14. Contribute ideas for improving data quality processes.
  15. Maintain accurate documentation related to validation and data quality activities.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in B.Com or B.Sc.
  2. Candidates with 0–1 years of experience can apply.
  3. Basic proficiency in SQL is required.

  5. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory is preferred.
