Job Overview

American Express is hiring Customer Service Associates for its Customer Engagement Network in Gurugram. This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity for graduates with at least one year of customer service experience. The selected candidates will interact with Card Members through chat and phone, understand customer concerns, provide personalised solutions, and deliver excellent customer support. Key Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service through chat and phone interactions.
2. Handle 2–3 customer chat conversations simultaneously.
3. Understand Card Members’ needs and provide personalised solutions.

5. Build positive relationships with customers through effective communication.
6. Handle customer objections and resolve service-related concerns.
7. Maintain high customer satisfaction and service quality.
8. Achieve performance targets related to customer satisfaction and handling time.
9. Follow assigned work schedules and maintain schedule adherence.
10. Handle customer information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
11. Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
12. Analyse customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
13. Resolve customer issues during the first interaction whenever possible.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience is required.
3. Previous experience in chat support is strongly preferred.
