Job Overview

Eaton is hiring an Associate Engineer – Product Stewardship and Sustainability for its Aerospace business in Pune. This role focuses on product compliance, environmental regulations, and sustainability assessments for aerospace products. Selected candidates will support product compliance projects, understand international regulatory requirements, and work with global engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates with an engineering or environmental science background who are interested in product stewardship and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Aerospace business in product development and engineering services.
  2. Assist global engineering teams with product stewardship activities.
  3. Understand customer requirements related to product compliance.
  4. Implement product compliance requirements in relevant projects.
  5. Collaborate with project engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams.
  6. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
  7. Research upcoming environmental and product regulatory requirements.
  8. Communicate regulatory updates and findings to team members.
  9. Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  10. Use digital tools and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. Eligible qualifications include Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  3. Candidates with 0–1 year of experience are eligible.
  4. Fresh graduates can apply.
  5. Applicants should have a basic understanding of product stewardship.
  6. Candidates should be interested in sustainability and environmental compliance.
