Job Overview

Flex is hiring an Analyst – Procurement for its Global Business Services (GBS) Procurement team in Pune. This role is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to two years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. The selected candidate will handle purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, monitor material deliveries, maintain supplier databases, and manage inventory levels. Candidates with knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with good coordination and communication skills, can apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage procurement activities for C-class items.
2. Handle the complete purchasing cycle, from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO).
3. Send purchase orders to suppliers and obtain order confirmations.
4. Follow up with suppliers regarding material delivery schedules.
5. Coordinate supplier payments and resolve related issues.
6. Monitor actual delivery status of materials.
7. Prepare and complete Open Purchase Order Reports on time.
8. Prepare shortage reports for review and management.
9. Manage purchase order pull-ins, push-outs, and cancellations based on MRP reports.
10. Maintain inventory levels according to business requirements.
11. Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers regarding purchase order changes.
12. Maintain and update supplier databases.
13. Handle shortage and excess inventory escalations.
14. Follow up on urgent material receipts and overdue deliveries.
15. Resolve material receiving and procurement-related challenges.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
2. Eligible qualifications include B.Com, BBA, and B.Sc.
3. Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
4. Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Basic understanding of purchasing and procurement activities is beneficial.
6. Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal business teams.
7. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
