Job Overview

Caterpillar is hiring a Material Availability Analyst for its Supply Chain and Logistics team in Bangalore. The selected candidate will work with suppliers, purchasing teams, and inventory management operations to ensure materials are available on time. The role involves tracking supplier performance, managing inventory, resolving supply-related issues, and supporting timely shipments. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as the primary contact for suppliers and follow up on pending requirements.
  2. Monitor supplier performance and reduce overdue material schedules.
  3. Manage inventory levels to prevent excess stock.
  4. Review schedule releases and ensure timely material shipments.
  5. Coordinate with global purchasing buyers to resolve supply-related problems.
  6. Track material availability across the supply network.
  7. Support inventory planning and distribution activities.
  8. Identify delays and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
  9. Maintain accurate supply chain records and reports.
  10. Support improvements in supplier and logistics operations.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics can apply.
  2. A degree or equivalent experience is desired.
  3. Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may be considered.
  4. Must be willing to work in US, UK and AP shifts.
  5. Must be comfortable working onsite five days a week in Bangalore.
  6. Candidates requiring employment visa sponsorship are not eligible.
