Visa is hiring a Software Test Engineer (ORMB) with 0.6 to 2 years of experience for its Bangalore office. Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional test cases.
- Execute tests and generate necessary data independently.
- Perform ORMB functional, batch, UI, and interface testing.
- Debug, isolate, and log problem scenarios accurately.
- Build test automation tools and frameworks from scratch.
- Develop automation frameworks for backend and web-based applications.
- Create tools for test data generation and analysis.
- Work closely with software engineers to design detailed automation suites.
- Identify and promote test automation opportunities.
- Support agile events like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with global teams across different time zones.
- Prepare detailed test cases and validate application performance.
- Work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases to analyze data via complex queries.
- Contribute to the team’s continuous improvement and quality goals.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- 0.6–2 years of experience in software testing, automation, and ORMB
- Hands-on experience in ORMB functionality, data models, and SQL
- Experience in UI, interface, and batch testing
- Knowledge of Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalent automation tools
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner (preferred)
- Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node.js, React)
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of prompt engineering or GPT-based tools (a plus)
