Job Overview

HSBC is hiring an Assistant Manager Operations – Apprentice for its Asset and Wealth Management team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on investor services, transaction reporting, customer communication, distribution services, monthly reporting, and maintaining process and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have an understanding of mutual funds or security markets, strong communication skills, and an interest in client-facing service roles. The apprenticeship will continue for one year under the applicable Apprentices Act and Rules.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of transactions received at the Investor Service Centre.
  2. Manage customer communication and support timely resolution of queries.
  3. Support distribution services and investor services, particularly for corporate customers.
  4. Coordinate with service providers and highlight discrepancies or gaps on time.
  5. Identify and support process efficiency improvements.
  6. Contribute to improving customer service and customer satisfaction.
  7. Follow applicable regulatory requirements related to the role.
  8. Contribute to knowledge management activities within the customer service team.
  9. Support contingency and leave planning activities.
  10. Follow the process manual and applicable FIM requirements.
  11. Support and maintain the monthly reporting process.
  12. Work with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  13. Handle assigned responsibilities with accountability for delivery outcomes.
