Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software for organizational products and systems.
- Work on completing all phases of software engineering design projects.
- Perform system integration of software and hardware to ensure consistency and performance.
- Analyze processes and deliver results to relevant stakeholders.
- Review results and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Develop expected outcomes across a variety of software products.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing projects.
- Review changes or upgrades to existing designs and tests.
- Apply judgment in selecting methods and techniques to solve engineering problems.
- Work in a cross-functional agile environment to manage and improve deployments.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks with minimal manual intervention.
- Perform end-to-end testing of data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes.
- Conduct data quality testing and validation using database queries.
- Identify defects through automated testing and determine root causes.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium.
- Knowledge of test strategy, test artifacts, and SIT test planning.
- Ability to analyze data models, mappings, and architecture documents.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java.
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot defects and analyze erroneous results.
- Experience with monitoring tools and custom alerting systems.
- Interest in automation and genetic algorithm-based test frameworks.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
