Job Overview

Citi is hiring an Applications Support Intermediate Analyst for its Technology team in Pune. The selected candidate will provide technical and business support to users of Citi applications. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, monitoring production systems, coordinating with technology teams, participating in application releases, and maintaining technical documentation. Candidates should have experience with Linux, Oracle/SQL, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebLogic, and CI/CD tools. Knowledge of Java, Python, and financial markets will also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical and business support to users of Citi applications.
  2. Handle application-related issues and queries from stakeholders.
  3. Provide short-term solutions and coordinate with technology teams for permanent fixes.
  4. Act as a communication link between users, traders, internal technology teams, and vendors.
  5. Develop a strong understanding of application support processes and business requirements.
  6. Participate in disaster recovery testing.
  7. Support application releases from development and testing through production deployment.
  8. Perform post-release checks after application releases and infrastructure updates.
  9. Prepare and maintain technical support documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

  2. 5–8 years of experience in application support or a related technical field.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of Linux, Oracle, SQL, WAS, and WebLogic.
  4. Understanding of application support procedures and technical processes.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot application-related issues independently.
  6. Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.
  7. Basic understanding of financial markets and financial products.
  8. Knowledge of problem management tools and procedures.
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with different technology teams.
  10. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Required Skills

  1. Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
  2. Good knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.
