Job Overview

Amgen is hiring an Associate Business Systems Analyst for its Commercialization Technology team in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will work with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. The role involves business analysis, requirements gathering, Agile project delivery, testing, documentation, backlog management, and production support. Candidates will also get opportunities to work with enterprise technologies, data, AI, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Product Owners and System Architects to perform business analysis activities.
  2. Understand customer needs and document business processes and product requirements.
  3. Work with Product Managers and customers to define project scope and business value.
  4. Coordinate with Business SMEs and Product Management to prioritize release requirements.
  5. Manage and refine product backlogs.
  6. Ensure non-functional requirements are included in product and release backlogs.
  7. Break down Epics into Features and sprint-sized User Stories.
  8. Participate in backlog reviews with the product team.
  9. Write clear user stories and technical requirements.
  10. Define acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
  11. Provide feedback to stakeholders to ensure software meets business requirements.
  12. Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
  13. Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. 2–4 years of experience as an Information Systems Business Analyst.
  3. Experience supporting enterprise software or data solutions.
  4. Ability to complete technical assignments and work with cross-functional teams.
  5. Ability to learn new technologies, platforms, and business processes quickly.
