Job Overview
Rockwell Automation is hiring an IFS Cloud Developer to develop, customize, and maintain its IFS Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. The role involves building integrations, configuring business processes, developing reports, and supporting AI-enabled features for manufacturing and business operations. Candidates should have hands-on IFS Cloud experience, knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases, and expertise in REST APIs and the IFS Extension Framework. Experience with ERP implementations, cloud architecture, and application support is also valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within the IFS Cloud ERP platform.
- Customize ERP business processes according to business requirements.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and application enhancements.
- Work with IFS Cloud’s embedded intelligence and AI-powered features.
- Support predictive analytics, forecasts, recommendations, and anomaly detection.
- Build integrations between IFS Cloud and external systems using REST APIs and middleware.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Perform impact analysis for system changes and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support ERP upgrades, patches, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and infrastructure teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and deployment guides.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Follow security, governance, and AI explainability practices.
- Ensure customizations remain compatible with future IFS Cloud upgrades.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with IFS Cloud ERP development and configuration.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database development.
- Experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of IFS Aurena and the IFS Extension Framework.
- Understanding of at least one ERP business area, such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Asset Management, or Service Management.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and SaaS ERP concepts.
- Preferably 3+ years of ERP development experience, including 1–2 years with IFS Cloud.
- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and production support is an advantage.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum is preferred.
