Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java and J2EE.
  2. Build scalable web applications using the Struts framework.
  3. Refactor and enhance applications for improved performance and security.
  4. Develop Shell scripts for automation, builds, and monitoring.
  5. Collaborate with teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.
  6. Support migration of legacy applications to modern Java/J2EE platforms.
  7. Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
  8. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases.
  9. Ensure application scalability and maintainability.
  10. Implement best practices in coding and architecture.
  11. Write and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and database transactions.
  12. Work with SOAP/REST Web Services for integration.
  13. Manage XML-based configurations and data integrations.
  14. Troubleshoot complex technical issues during development.
  15. Ensure smooth deployment and production support collaboration.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong Core Java knowledge including OOPs, multithreading, and design patterns.
  2. Hands-on experience with J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC).
  3. Practical expertise with Struts framework.
  4. Knowledge of clean coding principles.
  5. Proficiency with XML configurations.
  6. Experience creating/consuming SOAP/REST APIs.
  7. Strong SQL and JDBC understanding.
  8. Ability to refactor and optimize existing applications.
  9. Knowledge of enterprise application development concepts.
  10. Experience in debugging and performance tuning.
  11. Strong problem-solving skills.
  12. Ability to work on migration projects.
  13. Good understanding of deployment environments.
  14. Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
