Key Responsibilities

  1. Learn product functionality and testing methodologies.
  2. Work under the guidance of a QE lead.
  3. Support product testing cycles.
  4. Execute test cases using TestRail and related tools.
  5. Assist in automation test scripting.
  6. Contribute to quality assurance activities.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Identify bugs and document them clearly.
  9. Gain exposure to end-to-end testing processes.
  10. Apply coding knowledge for testing tasks.
  11. Support regression and functional testing.
  12. Contribute to continuous improvement in testing.
  13. Participate in code reviews related to testing scripts.
  14. Understand workflows and contribute effectively.
  15. Meet individual and team testing deliverables.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  2. Basic object-oriented programming knowledge.
  3. Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  4. Understanding of API/web services testing.
  5. Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
  6. Desire to build a career in Quality Engineering/Testing.
  7. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
  8. Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  9. Problem-solving mindset.
  10. Strong communication skills.
  11. Testing certification (good to have, not mandatory).
  12. Team collaboration skills.
  13. Analytical and logical thinking ability.
  14. Attention to detail.
  15. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
