Job Overview

GullySystem is hiring QA Trainees for its software testing team. This one-year trainee programme is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to one year of experience. Selected candidates will gain practical experience in manual and automation testing, test case preparation, bug reporting and regression testing. They will also learn automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress while testing real applications across Android devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Write test cases based on software requirements.
  2. Execute test cases on real software builds before releases.
  3. Perform exploratory testing to identify software defects.
  4. Automate regression test cases using Playwright or Cypress.
  5. Test applications on real Android devices.
  6. Perform testing across different web browsers.
  7. Identify, document and report software bugs.
  8. Provide clear steps to reproduce defects.
  9. Work with developers to verify reported issues.
  10. Participate in software release meetings.
  11. Evaluate software quality before product releases.
  12. Help determine whether a software build is ready for release.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  2. Candidates with demonstrable self-learning experience can also apply.
  3. Freshers and candidates with 0–1 years of experience are eligible.
  4. Applicants should have basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python.
  5. Candidates should understand basic programming concepts.
  6. Applicants must have good written English communication skills.
  7. Candidates should have an interest in software testing.
  8. Applicants should be comfortable identifying and reporting software defects.
