Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate desktop applications and connected device systems.
- Review software requirements, user stories, and design documents to identify testing needs.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and test reports.
- Perform manual and automated testing using Ranorex or similar tools.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
- Work with developers, product owners, and business analysts to resolve software issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Validate software functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum meetings, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Support software release testing and quality checks.
- Identify quality risks and gaps in test coverage.
- Maintain testing documentation and report execution results.
- Help improve testing processes and software delivery quality.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong practical experience in test automation.
- Experience testing desktop applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of Ranorex or similar automation tools.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
