Job Overview
DXC Technology is hiring an Analyst II Software Engineering professional in Chennai to support banking IT applications and related solutions. The role focuses on supporting Finacle 10.x application modules, monitoring application services, reviewing application logs, handling service requests, and coordinating with internal and external service providers. Candidates will also be responsible for application maintenance activities and following defined processes and procedures. The position is suitable for professionals with experience in banking IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Finacle 10.x application modules related to Branch Operations, CASA, TD, Loans, Trade Finance, and Locker.
- Support alternate delivery channels including SWIFT, Clearing, Utility Payments, and Financial Inclusion-related services.
- Analyze product fatal errors and assist with troubleshooting.
- Review application logs to identify and understand application issues.
- Execute defined processes and procedures for application support activities.
- Monitor application services and their availability.
- Log service calls with internal or external service providers when required.
- Follow up with service providers until reported issues are resolved.
- Track and escalate service calls to the Delivery Lead or service providers when additional assistance is required.
- Regularly update assigned service calls with the latest status.
- Perform application maintenance activities according to defined checklists.
- Support the availability and smooth functioning of banking IT applications.
- Follow established IT service management and support procedures.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve application-related issues.
- Maintain proper communication and follow-up throughout the issue-resolution process.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a Science or Commerce graduation degree.
- BE/B.Tech, MCA, or MBA qualifications are preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the Banking IT domain or related application support.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is mandatory.
- Candidates should have an understanding of application support and maintenance processes.
- Candidates should be comfortable working with defined procedures and checklists.
- Good communication and coordination skills are required.
