Job Overview

Cargill is hiring an Associate Developer, Process Automation for its Digital Technology team in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, automation scripts, and data-processing solutions. The role also involves cloud engineering, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and support for machine learning and Generative AI solutions. Candidates will work with experienced developers and business teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency across manufacturing, ERP, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, test, and maintain Python applications, APIs, automation scripts, and data-processing solutions.
  2. Support the deployment and management of applications on Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  3. Participate in source control, automated build pipelines, deployment automation, and software release activities.
  4. Assist with deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning and Generative AI solutions.
  5. Contribute to automation projects using Python, robotic process automation tools, and workflow technologies.
  6. Perform software testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  7. Help ensure smooth application deployments in production environments.
  8. Monitor applications after deployment and resolve technical issues.
  9. Improve existing applications by implementing enhancements and fixing problems.
  10. Maintain technical documentation for applications, systems, and development processes.
  11. Work with senior developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must have 1–2 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, automation, or AI-related development.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  3. Candidates should have strong Python programming skills.
  4. Applicants must understand basic object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  5. Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS is required.
  6. Candidates should understand Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar version control tools.
