Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with local volunteer moderators in Thailand and India.
- Drive initiatives to expand the number of local moderators and well-established communities.
- Plan and host engaging on- and off-platform events for power users.
- Develop game plans to build robust networks of community creators.
- Launch targeted initiatives to engage locally relevant demographics.
- Provide insights on local moderator landscape and sentiment.
- Create communication plans to bridge the gap between users and moderators.
- Support moderators with tools and resources to enhance community engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience on the platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share community feedback.
- Monitor and report on community growth and engagement metrics.
- Resolve conflicts and manage challenging relationships within communities.
- Stay updated with local trends and cultural nuances.
- Participate in strategy sessions to refine community management approaches.
- Create and distribute resources to educate and empower community creators.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 1-3 years of community management experience on platforms like Reddit, Discord, or Facebook Groups.
- Strong understanding of Thai and Indian cultures, including trends and community dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse communities and manage challenging relationships.
- Creative mindset with a focus on testing new ideas and community initiatives.
- Fluency in English; Thai proficiency preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
