Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements for test planning.
- Participate in designing test plans and strategies.
- Prepare test data and configure environments for testing.
- Execute manual test cases and identify software defects.
- Log bugs with detailed information for developers.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts.
- Run automation regression tests during release cycles.
- Identify and report issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with senior engineers and QA peers.
- Support continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Provide regular status updates and test coverage reports.
- Work in Unix/Linux and virtualized environments.
- Develop automation scripts that are scalable and maintainable.
- Assist with debugging and troubleshooting product issues.
- Maintain customer-focused quality standards throughout development.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 1–2 years of experience in QA and test automation.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation.
- Good problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with virtualized systems and tools.
- Basic knowledge of security product testing is an advantage.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes is a plus.
- Exposure to AWS environments is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on test coverage and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
