Job Overview

IQVIA is hiring an Advanced SQL & Excel Analyst for its Bengaluru office. The selected candidate will support the Australia and New Zealand Analytics team by working on data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and data quality checks. Candidates should have strong knowledge of SQL and Excel, along with experience using Power BI or MicroStrategy. This role offers an opportunity to work with large datasets and develop expertise in pharmaceutical and healthcare analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies.
  2. Prepare weekly and monthly analytical reports.
  3. Extract, transform, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL and Excel.
  4. Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI or MicroStrategy.
  5. Perform data validation and quality checks.
  6. Identify and investigate data discrepancies.
  7. Handle ad hoc data analysis requests.
  8. Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements.
  9. Improve existing reporting and dashboard processes.
  10. Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks.
  11. Maintain accurate and consistent analytical outputs.
  12. Support Patient Analytics and Sales Force Effectiveness projects as required.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Graduate or postgraduate degree in Technology.
  2. 1–3 years of relevant analytics experience.
  3. Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  4. Experience with Power BI or MicroStrategy.
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Strong attention to detail.
  7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
