Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test cases for firmware functionalities.
- Create detailed test plans including test scenarios and execution steps.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all testing activities.
- Participate in project code development and automated test code reviews.
- Execute automated software and firmware test suites and analyze results.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and defects.
- Modify test networks to closely simulate real customer environments.
- Support development teams in reproducing and fixing reported issues.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing workflows.
- Analyze build failures and provide quick fixes to ensure build stability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and defined processes.
- Enhance existing testing tools and frameworks for new use cases.
- Explore and implement new tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Use Generative AI tools to improve productivity and daily operations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python programming for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with firmware and embedded system testing.
- Practical knowledge of developing automated test frameworks and tools.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining test networks.
- Familiarity with industry-standard networking equipment.
- Working experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working within a development team as a quality gate.
- Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
