Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct interoperability testing for NetApp software with hardware and software solutions.
  2. Deploy and troubleshoot OS installations, drivers, and firmware upgrades on servers.
  3. Test storage and data management services in Kubernetes environments.
  4. Work with public/private clouds like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  5. Collaborate with partner teams to understand and execute test requirements.
  6. Automate test cases using Python.
  7. Debug and resolve issues encountered during testing and setup.
  8. Present test results to teams and ensure quality standards.
  9. Assist in documentation of processes, issues, and fixes.
  10. Ensure adherence to timelines for project deliverables.
  11. Learn and adapt to new technologies in storage and cloud domains.
  12. Contribute to cross-team collaboration for effective problem-solving.
  13. Conduct test executions for scalability and performance validation.
  14. Participate in peer code reviews for automation scripts.
  15. Continuously improve test coverage and methodologies.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong background in storage or Host OS interoperability testing.
  2. Familiarity with server hardware and operating systems.
  3. Hands-on experience with OS deployment and troubleshooting.
  4. Skills in Kubernetes environments (Vanilla, OpenShift, Anthos, Tanzu, Rancher).
  5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  6. Proficiency in Python for automation or development.
  7. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  9. Fast learner with strong aptitude for new technologies.
  10. Experience with REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or Golang (preferred).
  11. OS administration experience (Linux, Windows, ESXi).
  12. Experience configuring and troubleshooting NAS/SAN environments.
  13. Familiarity with NetApp products (ONTAP, CVS) or other cloud-native storage platforms.
  14. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  15. Understanding of Agile workflows and QA best practices.
