Job Overview

Salesforce is hiring a Systems Engineer to manage and maintain financial SaaS applications that support important business operations. The selected candidate will handle application administration, security, data quality, integrations, automation, and production support. The role involves working with developers, business teams, and technology specialists to resolve complex issues, improve system performance, and introduce AI-powered workflows. Candidates should have strong experience with enterprise applications and a good understanding of financial business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and configure enterprise SaaS applications such as BlackLine, Workiva, Kyriba, Coupa, and Concur.
  2. Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings across applications.
  3. Maintain application performance, data accuracy, and overall platform health.
  4. Handle software updates, vendor releases, upgrades, and new application features.
  5. Identify manual processes that can be improved through automation.
  6. Support AI-powered workflows and help integrate AI agents into business operations.
  7. Monitor existing automations and resolve failures or performance issues.
  8. Support data migration, importing, exporting, cleansing, and deduplication activities.
  9. Coordinate with integration teams to support connections between Salesforce, ERP, marketing, and other enterprise systems.
  10. Troubleshoot API and application integration issues.
  11. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for application-related problems.
  12. Investigate configuration, data, security, automation, and integration issues.
  13. Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurring problems.
  14. Manage sandbox environments, testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, and production releases.
  15. Coordinate with developers, QA teams, integration specialists, and business stakeholders during system changes.
  16. Maintain technical documentation for application configurations and business processes.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant experience in application configuration and maintenance.
  2. Candidates should have expertise in at least one financial SaaS application, such as BlackLine, Workiva, Kyriba, Coupa, or Concur.
  3. Applicants should understand financial processes such as Record to Report and Procure to Pay.
  4. Candidates should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and handling multiple priorities.
  5. Applicants should be able to work independently and understand the impact of technical changes on other business systems.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
