Job Overview
NatWest Group is hiring a Data & Analytics Analyst for its Data, Insights & Analytics and Business Strategy & Delivery team in Chennai. The role involves using advanced analytics to develop business solutions, understand customers and business processes, and create meaningful data visualisations and insights. The selected candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary data and analytics teams to identify business challenges, deliver analytical solutions, and support better business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and business challenges.
- Identify suitable data and analytics solutions for business requirements.
- Define detailed business questions, problems, and opportunities that can be addressed through advanced analytics.
- Develop business solutions using advanced analytics.
- Create meaningful data visualisations for key stakeholders.

- Work in an Agile environment with multidisciplinary data and analytics teams.
- Coordinate resources across the team and business to achieve project and Scrum outcomes.
- Communicate data and analytics opportunities clearly to business stakeholders.
- Explain analytical findings in a simple and understandable way.
- Help stakeholders select suitable analytical approaches for their business needs.
- Use new tools, technologies, and methodologies for advanced analytics.
- Bring together data analytics, data science, and data engineering work.
- Ensure analytical outputs are clearly connected to business requirements.
- Support the development of efficient, simple, and automated processes where possible.
