Job Overview

Maersk is hiring Software Engineers for its Bengaluru and Pune locations. The selected candidates will join the global People Technology team and work on developing, enhancing, and supporting HR technology solutions. The role involves working with Microsoft technologies, .NET, Vue, Workday, Microsoft Azure, Generative AI, and automation solutions. Candidates will contribute to building scalable applications, developing RESTful APIs, implementing AI-powered solutions, and improving HR operations through modern technology.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Configure, enhance, and support Workday modules, including Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits.
  2. Develop Generative AI applications, copilots, and autonomous AI agents to automate HR operations.
  3. Build and maintain frontend and backend applications using modern programming languages and development tools.
  4. Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
  5. Implement software solutions following coding standards and development best practices.
  6. Work with CI/CD pipelines, code management strategies, and Workday configuration practices.
  7. Collaborate with team members through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions.
  8. Identify technical risks, issues, and opportunities for improving existing systems.
  9. Participate in strategic technology projects and implement new features and enhancements.
  10. Manage change requests, including impact assessments, solution design, testing, and delivery.
  11. Handle application incidents, system maintenance, mass data loads, and HR operational support.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have experience working with Workday technologies.
  2. Knowledge of at least one Workday module, such as Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, or Benefits, is required.
  3. Candidates should understand Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI/ML concepts.
  4. Hands-on experience developing LLM-based applications and AI solutions is expected.
  5. Experience in developing and supporting applications using the .NET technology stack is required.
  6. Candidates should have frontend development experience with Vue.
