Job Overview

Larsen & Toubro is hiring a Software Engineer for its D&DC Land Systems team in Mumbai. The position also includes system integration, root cause analysis, diagnostics development, and working with distributed systems and communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop software using C and C++ programming languages.
  2. Work with operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
  3. Develop software in multi-threaded and multi-process environments.
  4. Work with Linux, Jira, and inter-process communication technologies.
  5. Design and implement tools to accelerate software system development and debugging.
  6. Support the resolution of software issues reported from customer sites.
  7. Analyze system scalability and interworking issues.
  8. Perform root cause analysis of system-level issues.
  9. Design and implement built-in diagnostics and test codes.
  10. Develop solutions that improve system reliability and supportability.
  11. Work on distributed architecture systems with intercommunication.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have a B.Tech or B.E qualification.
  2. Candidates should have 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Candidates should have strong programming knowledge in C and C++.
  4. Candidates should have knowledge of operating system principles.
  5. Candidates should be familiar with Linux, VxWorks, or QNX.
  6. Candidates should have an understanding of multi-threaded and multi-process programming environments.
  7. Candidates should have knowledge of software development and debugging practices.
