Job Overview

Keysight Technologies is hiring an IT Engineer, Software – Entry for its offices in Gurgaon and Bengaluru. The role focuses on software development, test automation, robotic process automation (RPA), and improving business processes through technology. The selected candidate will analyse technical requirements, develop automation solutions, troubleshoot software issues, and support testing across different platforms. Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience, programming knowledge, and an understanding of AI tools and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse functional specifications and convert requirements into efficient technical designs and architectures.
2. Troubleshoot software issues and debug applications to improve performance.
3. Design user interfaces that improve the overall user experience.
4. Coordinate with functional IT teams to plan new features and software upgrades.
5. Research new applications, tools, and protocols based on business requirements.
6. Work with automation tools and software products to improve operational efficiency.
7. Analyse business processes and project requirements to identify automation opportunities.
8. Create test packs to improve the efficiency and quality of software development.
9. Automate test scenarios for functional testing and regression testing.
10. Distribute development tasks and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
11. Prepare dashboards and reports for IT teams and business stakeholders.
12. Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
13. Maintain test automation virtual machines and related technical infrastructure.
14. Support test automation development across platforms, including Eggplant.
15. Drive AI-related initiatives within test automation and RPA workflows.
16. Execute projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2. Applicants should have 1–2 years of experience in software development, implementation, and architecture design.
3. Candidates should be able to prepare and review functional and technical specifications.
4. Applicants must have programming knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
5. Candidates should understand software testing and test automation concepts.
6. Experience with JIRA and defect management tools is required.
7. Experience with Eggplant or other test automation platforms is preferred.
