Job Overview

CGI is hiring a .NET Fullstack Developer for its software development and engineering team in Hyderabad. The role requires strong experience in .NET, C#, TypeScript, RxJS, Azure, Angular, and modern software development practices. The developer will work on both modern and legacy applications, develop cloud-based solutions, build APIs and microservices, manage CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot systems, and contribute to modernization while maintaining system stability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
  2. Build full-stack solutions using .NET, TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular.
  3. Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
  4. Set up and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
  5. Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs.
  6. Implement Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus solutions.
  7. Work with Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Application Insights.
  8. Develop containerized applications using Docker and Azure Container Registry.
  9. Work with Azure Key Vault, App Registrations, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  10. Develop backend solutions using Entity Framework and T-SQL.
  11. Implement authentication using token-based security.
  12. Apply CQRS, Mediator, domain-driven, or similar patterns for Web API development.
  13. Develop and maintain front-end applications using modern Angular.
  14. Work with NgRx Redux Store, Signal Store, SCSS, Jest, and MSAL.
  15. Develop unit tests using MSTest, NUnit, or XUnit.
  16. Create and maintain NuGet packages where required.
  17. Work with microservices and containerized application architectures.
  18. Investigate and troubleshoot unfamiliar modern and legacy systems independently.
  19. Support legacy application modernization and identify opportunities to move suitable functionality toward modern .NET and Azure services.
  20. Make incremental and low-risk improvements while considering system stability and business continuity.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have senior-level development experience with .NET and C#.
  2. Candidates should have strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
  3. Candidates should have experience with TypeScript and RxJS.
  4. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development.
  5. Candidates should have experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines and YAML.
  6. Candidates should have experience with Git-based version control.
  7. Candidates should have experience developing Web APIs and backend applications.
  8. Candidates should have experience with Entity Framework and T-SQL.
  9. Candidates should understand cloud, containerization, and microservices concepts.
  10. Candidates should be comfortable working with both modern and legacy applications.
  11. Candidates should be able to independently investigate and understand unfamiliar systems.
  12. Candidates should be willing to troubleshoot existing systems before proposing replacements.
  13. Candidates should understand the business impact of changes to existing applications.
