Job Overview

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Full Stack Engineer – Java for its technology team in Hyderabad. The role involves developing and maintaining full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST and SOAP services, and other modern technologies. The engineer will work across design, development, integration testing, quality assurance, deployment, production support, and troubleshooting of distributed application modules.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop new user-facing features using Java, Spring Boot, React, and related technologies.
  2. Work across the full technology stack of the application.
  3. Deploy microservices and manage application deployments.
  4. Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality production-ready code.
  5. Optimize application components for better performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
  6. Participate actively in requirement grooming sessions and identify potential issues in requirements.
  7. Take responsibility for design, development, integration testing, quality assurance testing, and production activities.
  8. Handle problem and incident tickets related to distributed application modules.
  9. Troubleshoot application issues and support production environments.
  10. Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers when required.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have a B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, or M.Tech qualification.
  2. Candidates must have completed at least 16 years of formal education.

  4. Candidates should have solid development experience in Java/J2EE and UI technologies.
  5. Candidates should have experience in full-stack development.
