Role & Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and enhancement of AI algorithms, techniques, and solutions for Zoom’s AI Companion product.
2. Collaborate with experienced researchers and engineers to develop innovative solutions.
3. Work closely with data professionals to design and build applications leveraging Zoom’s data platform.
4. Implement data-driven solutions that contribute to business growth and enhance customer experience.
5. Design, develop, and optimize APIs (REST, GraphQL) to ensure scalability and high performance.
6. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration.
7. Implement authentication and security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and SAML protocols.
8. Ensure efficient and secure user access control systems.
9. Develop web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining optimal performance.
11. Implement software testing strategies to ensure high-quality software releases.
12. Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.
13. Utilize Zoom’s data platform to create state-of-the-art applications for business impact.

Skills Required

1. Proficiency in software development with hands-on experience in Python.
2. Expertise in at least one compiled language such as Java, C++, or Go.
3. Strong understanding of database management systems, including PostgreSQL.
4. Experience with version control tools such as Git.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-based application development.
6. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitOps, GitHub/GitLab.
8. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
