Estimated Salary: ₹3,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum (based on market estimates for SDET Intern roles in India)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers.
  2. Work with mentors to review product requirements and understand testing needs.
  3. Improve existing test coverage by identifying missing cases and reducing test flakiness.
  4. Support manual validation of new features and regression runs alongside automation.
  5. Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand workflows and verify functionality.
  6. Contribute to enhancing the overall product quality.
  7. Participate in debugging issues related to automated tests.
  8. Learn and apply best practices in test automation frameworks.
  9. Review and analyze product requirements.
  10. Execute automated and manual test cases.
  11. Identify and report bugs effectively.
  12. Maintain clear documentation of test cases and results.
  13. Help design test strategies for different features.
  14. Perform exploratory testing as required.
  15. Stay updated with emerging testing tools and automation technologies.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript/Node.js preferred; Python, Java also acceptable).
  • Curiosity to understand system behavior and willingness to learn automation.
  • Familiarity with at least one testing framework (Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, etc.).
  • Understanding of software testing fundamentals (test cases, assertions, debugging basics).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
