Key Responsibilities
As a Product Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in:
1. Data Querying & Management
- Use SQL to run queries on analytical engines like Google BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.
- Fetch and manage large datasets related to user interactions.
- Optimize query performance and improve data retrieval efficiency.
2. Data Scripting & Automation
- Write scalable scripts to fetch, clean, and modify data from API endpoints.
- Work with Python, R, or other scripting languages to automate data processing.
- Develop ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
3. Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Work with BI tools like Superset, Redash, Metabase to create interactive dashboards.
- Generate detailed reports on key performance metrics.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for product teams.
4. Data Analysis & Insights Generation
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in user behavior.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to suggest data-driven improvements.
- Use statistical techniques to evaluate product performance and user engagement.
5. Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving
- Use trend analysis to forecast future user behavior.
- Develop data-driven hypotheses to improve ShareChat’s platform.
- Provide real-time insights to support business and product decisions.
6. Attention to Detail & Data Accuracy
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by thoroughly checking query outputs.
- Validate data models and analytics processes for reliability.
- Maintain clear documentation of analysis and methodologies used.
Who You Are (Skills & Requirements)
We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses:
Technical Skills
- Experience using BI tools such as Superset, Redash, Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Familiarity with data mining, segmentation techniques, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of ETL frameworks and API integration.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data reporting.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills to present insights clearly.
