Salary: ₹12,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum (estimated based on industry standards for similar roles in Hyderabad)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and perform thorough testing of processes and controls.
- Assess the control environment in alignment with IIA and departmental standards.
- Contribute to drafting and finalizing audit reports.
- Support Audit Leads in identifying action plans to address audit findings.
- Collaborate with management to ensure timely implementation of action plans.
- Lead discussions during audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business unit management.
- Work with global audit teams to support audit engagements.
- Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Apply data analytics and automation techniques to enhance audit effectiveness.
- Provide input into integrated audit projects covering business, data, and IT functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit methodologies and frameworks.
- Identify control gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support audit leadership in delivering high-quality assurance projects.
- Travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, for audit-related assignments.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with integrated audits and electronic work papers.
- Ability to adapt to different audit functions including IT and data auditing.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx preferred).
- Strong academic background with relevant degree.
- Professional certifications like CIA, ACCA, ACA are preferred.
- Proactive and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of audit standards and frameworks.
- Exposure to risk management practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in global teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
