Salary (Estimated): ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum (pro-rated stipend for interns based on industry standards in India)
Experience: 0–3 years

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in completing security and compliance questionnaires from Salesforce customers and prospects.
  2. Maintain customer-facing security documentation including white papers and FAQs.
  3. Support preparation of evidence for customer audits and compliance checks.
  4. Collaborate with teams across time zones to manage customer security audits.
  5. Help develop training material for internal teams on security and compliance.
  6. Contribute to building a central repository of compliance knowledge.
  7. Provide inputs to product teams regarding customer security concerns.
  8. Support the design of audit readiness programs and documentation.
  9. Participate in reviewing Salesforce services against global security standards.
  10. Assist with the management of security certifications like SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS.
  11. Work with cross-functional teams to implement security improvements.
  12. Drive process improvements leveraging Salesforce’s internal tools.
  13. Contribute to monitoring industry trends in security and compliance.
  14. Collaborate on security knowledge-sharing sessions with teams.
  15. Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks in the security team.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity, or IT security.
  2. Academic background or certifications in information security or cyber risk.
  3. Familiarity with security frameworks such as CSA CAIQ, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
  4. Understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
  5. Good organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to work across global teams in different time zones.
  7. Strong written communication skills for documentation purposes.
  8. Good verbal communication skills for customer interactions.
  9. Basic knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
  10. Awareness of industry-standard audit processes.
  11. Research and analytical skills to investigate compliance issues.
  12. Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
  13. Openness to learning and adapting to new security tools.
  14. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  15. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
