Job Overview

PwC India is hiring an Associate for its Data Science and Generative AI team in Bengaluru. The role involves developing AI applications using large language models, building AI pipelines, integrating AI models into existing systems, and improving model performance. Candidates will work with technologies such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who have practical knowledge of AI and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop Generative AI applications using large language models such as GPT, Claude, and Llama.
2. Work with multimodal AI models for different business applications.
3. Develop prompt engineering strategies to improve AI-generated results.
4. Fine-tune models and optimize their outputs for accuracy and relevance.
5. Build and deploy AI pipelines for text, image, audio, and video generation.
6. Integrate AI models into existing systems using APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and other providers.
7. Conduct experiments to evaluate AI models and their performance.
8. Improve AI applications using reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), embeddings, and RAG.
9. Explore new AI technologies, model architectures, and generative AI techniques.
10. Use data analytics to support business decisions and solve client problems.
11. Apply data manipulation and analytical techniques to extract useful insights from datasets.
12. Contribute to the development of practical AI solutions for business requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates should have 0–2 years of relevant experience.
2. A B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, or MCA qualification is listed in the job description.
3. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks.
4. Knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers is required.
5. Familiarity with large language model APIs is required.
6. Candidates should understand vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation frameworks.
7. Ability to develop, test, and evaluate AI applications is expected.
8. Candidates should have an interest in Generative AI, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies.
