Key Responsibilities
- Develop software based on provided design specifications.
- Analyze system specifications and existing business processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code and applications.
- Perform unit testing and document test cases.
- Build enhancements in line with the application’s development roadmap.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with peers and team leads on development tasks.
- Review peer code and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.
- Implement bug fixes for production or development environments.
- Work across teams to support cross-functional requirements.
- Assist in application deployments and version management.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and development trends.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
- Basic knowledge of debugging and testing practices
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
