Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own L1 application control path and data path software.
- Design and implement device driver software with customer focus.
- Collaborate with requirement and account teams for feature development.
- Work on system-wide impact features from architecture to delivery.
- Contribute to inter-process communication and OS-level designs.
- Support boot process development on x86 processors with multi-OS.
- Work on PCI, PCIe, SPI, DMA, and I2C protocols.
- Develop and integrate BSPs and board bring-up solutions.
- Contribute to IP stack driver implementations.
- Perform automated testing in software development environments.
- Support customer queries and resolve live deployment issues.
- Ensure timely feature delivery with continuous integration pipelines.
- Develop end-to-end communication framework solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to build efficient, scalable solutions.
- Uphold quality standards and follow TDD practices for robust outcomes.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Golang, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of embedded/Linux software development.
- Familiarity with OS concepts, threading, and inter-process communication.
- Understanding of bootloaders such as U-Boot or Coreboot.
- Experience with BSP development and hardware bring-up.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (PCI, PCIe, SPI, DMA, I2C).
- Hands-on exposure to BCM switch programming.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in automated testing environments.
- Knowledge of IP stack drivers and related software.
- Ability to analyze legacy code and integrate new features.
- Quick learner with strong software architecture fundamentals.
- Exposure to continuous integration and testing pipelines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
