Netomi is looking for a talented Software Development Engineer I (Frontend) to join its Product Engineering team. This role is ideal for developers with strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and UI-heavy feature development. Key Responsibilities

  1. Take ownership of key UI modules.
  2. Develop, maintain, and optimize frontend build and test systems.
  3. Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them effectively.
  4. Translate wireframes and design specifications into high-quality, functional code.
  5. Build reusable frontend components and libraries for future scalability.
  6. Collaborate with backend engineers for API integration and design.
  7. Work with Data Science and DevOps teams for seamless product development.
  8. Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
  9. Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliable software performance.
  10. Ensure code quality through version control and code reviews.
  11. Implement best practices in frontend development.
  12. Continuously improve UI/UX for enterprise SaaS applications.
  13. Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes.
  14. Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and tools.
  15. Provide inputs for improving engineering processes and practices.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. 1–3 years of experience building UI-heavy applications.
  2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  3. Hands-on experience with Vue.js (React or Angular experience also accepted).
  4. Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and Web Hooks.
  5. Experience translating UI/UX designs into functional interfaces.
  6. Ability to build scalable and reusable frontend components.
  7. Good understanding of application performance optimization.
  8. Familiarity with Node.js as backend support is a plus.
  9. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  10. Experience with version control systems (Git).
  11. Solid understanding of responsive and cross-browser design.
  12. Knowledge of frontend build tools and testing frameworks.
  13. Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams.
  14. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  15. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
