NetApp is hiring a Software Engineer for its Bengaluru, Karnataka location. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in Golang, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture.

As part of the Engineering team, you will contribute to product development, system enhancements, debugging, and testing. You will work on modern cloud and container orchestration technologies in a production environment and help build scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software products.
  2. Work on cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and container technologies.
  3. Develop microservices using Golang.
  4. Participate in technical discussions across teams to evaluate design and development plans.
  5. Contribute to product enhancements and new product development within R&D.
  6. Build scalable and high-performance systems with a focus on reliability.
  7. Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to implementation and testing.

Required Skills

  1. Strong programming skills in Golang.
  2. Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration frameworks.
  3. Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  4. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  5. Experience working with major cloud providers.
  6. Good understanding of REST API design and implementation.
  7. Experience with Linux or Unix-like operating systems.
  8. Ability to solve complex technical problems.
  9. Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
  10. Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  1. Full Stack development experience.
  2. Background in storage technologies.
  3. Experience building high-scale, high-performance systems.
  4. Kubernetes certifications such as CKAD or CKA.
