Job Overview

Micron Technology is looking for an Associate Engineer to support its IT engineering systems and infrastructure in Hyderabad. This role is open to fresh graduates and focuses on maintaining Linux and Windows systems, troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring infrastructure, and resolving incidents within agreed service-level targets. The selected candidate will work with IT, engineering, cloud, laboratory, and data centre teams. Knowledge of automation, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and AI-powered productivity solutions will be useful. Candidates must have a strong willingness to learn and be comfortable providing rotational on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support IT infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, laptops, desktops, applications, and hardware.
  2. Provide technical support for Linux and Windows systems.
  3. Work with laboratory, data centre, cloud, IT, and engineering teams.
  4. Provide rotational on-call support to maintain essential IT operations.
  5. Monitor incidents and resolve technical issues within service-level agreements (SLAs).
  6. Classify support tickets correctly and communicate their status.
  7. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when required.
  8. Troubleshoot system problems and identify their root causes.
  9. Perform incident and problem management activities.
  10. Monitor system performance, analyse logs, and identify potential issues.
  11. Take preventive measures to improve system uptime and reliability.
  12. Maintain technical documentation and use knowledge bases to resolve recurring problems.
  13. Identify opportunities to improve IT support processes and workflows.
  14. Use automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and troubleshooting.
  15. Follow security policies, protect confidential information, and validate AI-generated outputs before using them.

Eligibility Criteria
