Meta Platforms is hiring an ASIC Engineer Intern, Design Verification for its Hardware team in Bangalore, India. This internship offers hands-on experience in building accelerators that power large-scale data centers. Interns will work closely with experienced ASIC engineers and contribute to the design and verification of advanced IPs using state-of-the-art tools.

Internship Duration: 12 to 16 weeks
Estimated Stipend: ₹80,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month (based on industry standards for hardware internships)

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop tests, checkers, and coverage models to verify ASIC designs.
  2. Understand architecture and microarchitecture of hardware designs.
  3. Write SystemVerilog, UVM, or C code to generate test content.
  4. Develop scripts to automate verification processes.
  5. Debug test failures and collaborate with design, verification, and modeling teams to resolve issues.
  6. Contribute to improving verification methodologies and processes.

Required Skills

  1. Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Strong knowledge of Computer Architecture and Logic Design fundamentals.
  3. Ability to think critically and creatively to verify complex designs.
  4. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Valid work authorization in the country of employment.

Preferred Skills

  1. Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Knowledge of SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Verilog.
  3. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
