Job Overview
Medpace is hiring a Software Engineer to join its Information Technology team in Navi Mumbai. The selected candidate will develop, maintain and modernise software applications used for administrative operations. The role involves working with C#, SQL, Angular and web technologies while participating in software testing and release activities. Candidates should have at least two years of software development experience, a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and good communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work with modern technologies in a global clinical research organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse and document user requirements.
- Design, develop, modify and maintain software applications.
- Support existing administrative systems and applications.
- Participate in modernising older software systems.
- Develop applications using object-oriented programming concepts.
- Work with C# and related development technologies.
- Build and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and Angular.
- Work with SQL and relational databases.
- Participate in software validation activities.
- Develop and review test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Follow the software development life cycle from requirements to maintenance.
- Support software testing, release and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, tools and procedures.
- Explore opportunities to modernise applications using cloud technologies.
- Take ownership of development tasks and potentially lead software development projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Applicants should have at least two years of software development experience.
- Candidates should have experience with C#, Angular, web services, GraphQL, Git and relational databases.
- Applicants should understand the software development life cycle and software release management.
- Experience with Entity Framework and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
- Previous experience modernising applications for Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Applicants must have good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Candidates should be willing to work from the Navi Mumbai office.
