Key Responsibilities
- Support the complete lifecycle of services from design to deployment and operations.
- Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps.
- Assist in system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch readiness reviews.
- Monitor system availability, latency, performance, and overall health.
- Improve system reliability through automation and process optimization.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for higher environment deployments.
- Lead DevOps automation initiatives and promote best practices.
- Participate in incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Identify root causes during production issues and reduce recovery time.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Ensure production readiness and operational excellence of platforms.
- Proactively manage production risks and change activities.
- Support compliance and risk mitigation across environments.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and system design.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and scripting concepts.
- Experience or exposure to CI/CD tools such as Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory.
- Basic experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C, or C++.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and automation practices.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate manual tasks.
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and system health metrics.
- Interest in large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Awareness of operational risk and compliance needs.
