Key Responsibilities

  1. Engineer pilot platforms to deliver customer business and technical outcomes.
  2. Improve deployment processes for client engineering pilots.
  3. Collaborate with global teams to co-create and deliver hybrid cloud solutions.
  4. Deploy WatsonX and IBM’s strategic software using DevOps/MLOps practices.
  5. Provide deep technical expertise on hybrid cloud platforms and automation.
  6. Offer deployment guidance on Red Hat OpenShift and its managed offerings.
  7. Design and deploy solutions across public and private cloud providers.
  8. Build and maintain robust client relationships during pilot execution.
  9. Use DevOps, GitOps, and MLOps frameworks for automation and scaling.
  10. Implement containerized applications and troubleshoot deployment issues.
  11. Recommend architectural guidance for hybrid cloud adoption.
  12. Develop reference cases and reusable assets from successful projects.
  13. Share learnings and best practices across technical sales teams.
  14. Promote hybrid cloud adoption through effective communication.
  15. Ensure alignment with IBM’s global standards and methodologies.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong knowledge of deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  2. Expertise in public cloud platforms including compute, networking, and security.
  3. Hands-on experience with OpenShift and managed services like ROKS, ROSA, and ARO.
  4. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  5. Knowledge of DevOps, GitOps, and MLOps practices.
  6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Ability to design scalable and secure hybrid cloud solutions.
  8. Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
  9. Proficiency in deployment automation techniques and tools.
  10. Experience with configuration management tools like ARM templates.
  11. Ability to guide clients on best practices for hybrid cloud deployment.
  12. Strong communication and client engagement skills.
  13. Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
