Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Tableau.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives.
  2. SQL & Database Management
    • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
    • Work with various databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, etc.) to create efficient data models.
    • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and accuracy in BI reports.
  3. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) & Data Pipeline Development
    • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
    • Build automated data pipelines to streamline reporting workflows.
    • Work with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or GCP) to store and manage large datasets.
  4. Data Visualization & Reporting
    • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to present insights in an easy-to-understand manner.
    • Develop custom SQL queries to pull data for real-time reporting.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities using data-driven insights.
  5. Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization
    • Perform root cause analysis on BI issues and troubleshoot report discrepancies.
    • Optimize SQL queries and database structures for improved performance.
    • Work with business users to ensure BI solutions align with business needs.
  6. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • Work in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
    • Stay updated with emerging BI technologies and trends to enhance reporting capabilities.
    • Document best practices, data workflows, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Skills & Requirements

Technical Skills

  1. Strong SQL proficiency – experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  2. Tableau expertise – ability to create dynamic dashboards, data visualizations, and reports.
  3. Experience with ETL processes – knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  4. Hands-on experience with relational databases – knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
