Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners from Monitoring Infrastructure and Event Management Technology teams.
- Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Deliver solutions aligned with project timelines and business needs.
- Work with software and operations teams to improve monitoring and alerting services.
- Implement sustainable improvements across development and operations.
- Coordinate responses to service-impacting incidents.
- Modify configurations and systems to achieve long-term improvements.
- Contribute expertise to architecting next-generation services.
- Support escalation management in high-impact incidents.
- Coordinate SMEs and vendors for incident resolution.
- Represent ITID in managing the quality of delivered services.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
- Drive automation in monitoring and event management processes.
- Ensure security and performance in deployed solutions.
- Support organizational goals through proactive problem-solving.
Skills & Requirements
- 8–10 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in monitoring/event management or automation.
- Expertise in BMC Patrol, BMC TrueSight, BMC TSOM, and BMC Helix Operations Management.
- Knowledge of BMC KM Development.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Shell, Unix scripting, Perl, or Python.
- Experience with REST API development.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and networking.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Tanium, and Git.
- UNIX OS knowledge (mandatory).
- Experience with cloud migration projects (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Ability to coordinate across cross-functional global teams.
- Experience in incident management and resolution.
- Adaptability to hybrid and fast-paced work environments.
- Leadership skills to drive end-to-end project execution.
