Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with partners from Monitoring Infrastructure and Event Management Technology teams.
  2. Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and translate them into technical specifications.

  4. Work with software and operations teams to improve monitoring and alerting services.
  5. Implement sustainable improvements across development and operations.
  6. Coordinate responses to service-impacting incidents.

  9. Support escalation management in high-impact incidents.
  10. Coordinate SMEs and vendors for incident resolution.

  13. Drive automation in monitoring and event management processes.
  14. Ensure security and performance in deployed solutions.
  15. Support organizational goals through proactive problem-solving.

Skills & Requirements

  1. 8–10 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in monitoring/event management or automation.
  2. Expertise in BMC Patrol, BMC TrueSight, BMC TSOM, and BMC Helix Operations Management.
  3. Knowledge of BMC KM Development.
  4. Strong programming skills in Java, Shell, Unix scripting, Perl, or Python.
  5. Experience with REST API development.
  6. Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and networking.
  7. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Tanium, and Git.
  8. UNIX OS knowledge (mandatory).
  9. Experience with cloud migration projects (preferred).
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  12. Ability to coordinate across cross-functional global teams.
  13. Experience in incident management and resolution.
  14. Adaptability to hybrid and fast-paced work environments.
  15. Leadership skills to drive end-to-end project execution.
