Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is looking for a skilled Software Quality Engineer to join its networking division. This is a Hybrid role designed for professionals who are passionate about UI and API testing, automation, and delivering high-quality cloud-based solutions. The role supports Aruba (an HPE Company) and focuses on testing Web GUI and REST APIs within the Mist Cloud platform.

  10. Estimated Salary: ₹7,00,000 – ₹12,00,000 per annum (Based on industry standards for 2–4 years QA professionals in India)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Test, validate, and automate Web GUI and REST API functionality across the Mist Cloud platform.
  2. Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API using Python-based frameworks.
  3. Perform staging smoke tests, regression testing, and production validations.
  4. Analyze UI and API architecture to identify design gaps and improve test coverage.
  5. Log, track, and manage defects while coordinating closely with development teams.
  6. Maintain detailed regression test plans and expand automation coverage.
  7. Build and manage stable test environments for reliable execution and reporting.
  8. Create clear technical documentation for QA and Support teams.
  9. Collaborate with Customer Success teams to reproduce issues and convert them into regression test cases.
  10. Participate in meetings across different time zones when required.

Required Skills

  1. 2+ years of experience in software QA or testing.
  2. Strong Python programming knowledge with solid fundamentals.
  3. Hands-on experience with Selenium and pytest frameworks.
  4. Experience in testing Web applications and REST APIs.
  5. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile practices.
  6. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Willingness to work in an onsite model when required.

Preferred Skills
