Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize embedded software and firmware for a variety of products.
- Write, debug, and manage software applications using C/C++.
- Participate in schematic/layout reviews and provide feedback on circuit designs.
- Test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including software manuals and system design reports.
- Maintain firmware servers and develop internal tools and automation scripts.
- Assist in system architecture design to enhance performance and reliability.
- Develop tools and frameworks for testing and validating embedded systems.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues to ensure smooth product functionality.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization to enhance system efficiency.
- Work on wireless communication technologies to improve embedded connectivity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in firmware development processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in embedded software and IoT development.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Understanding of embedded software architectures and real-time operating systems.
- Basic experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded hardware.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for embedded firmware.
- Ability to work on system integration and cross-functional projects.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in embedded software development for real-world applications.
- Proficiency in wireless communication protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Zigbee.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for test automation.
- Understanding of hardware peripherals, including SPI, I2C, UART, and ADC.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug complex issues.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts in embedded software development.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices in firmware development.
