Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code for systems and infrastructure development.
- Design and implement scalable, robust distributed systems.
- Participate in or lead technical design reviews with stakeholders.
- Develop compute, storage, and networking systems.
- Maintain and enhance existing infrastructure components.
- Debug and resolve system issues affecting performance and reliability.
- Triage and track production issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth integration.
- Contribute to technical documentation and training materials.
- Review code for correctness, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Take ownership of project timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to infrastructure-wide architectural decisions.
- Innovate and propose improvements to existing solutions.
- Champion code quality, scalability, and accessibility.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python).
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in infrastructure, distributed systems, or compute/storage.
- Knowledge of system design principles and scalability.
- Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure tools and environments.
- Ability to debug complex system-level issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience with accessible technology development is a plus.
