Key Responsibilities

  1. Build scalable backend systems for powering eCommerce and D2C brands.
  2. Develop and maintain high-performance services using Node.js or Golang.
  3. Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and backend architectures.
  4. Optimize system performance to reduce return-to-origin (RTO) and boost conversions.
  5. Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integrations.
  6. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with best practices.
  7. Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth code deployment and delivery.
  8. Ensure backend systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  9. Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues.
  10. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) for deployments and scaling.
  11. Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  12. Manage and optimize backend databases for efficiency and reliability.
  13. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  14. Continuously improve backend processes through research and innovation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong expertise in Golang or Node.js.
  2. Experience with frameworks such as Restify.
  3. Solid understanding of REST APIs and server-side development.
  4. Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line operations.
  5. Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows.
  6. Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
  7. Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
  8. Understanding of Kubernetes for deployment orchestration.
  9. Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
  10. Experience with scalable and maintainable system design.
  11. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
